
DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 12, 2019) — The next STEM Teachers Night Out is Thursday, November 14, 5:30-7:30PM.
They will be touring Cinnamon Ridge Farms, a family-run robotic dairy farm outside Donahue, Iowa. Cinnamon Ridge Farms is ranked second overall in the nation for production and #1 for Protein.
Teachers, Parents, Students, STEM Professionals, and anyone else interested in local STEM education and STEM related facilities in Iowa & Illinois are encouraged to join us.
Attendees will learn and see where milk comes from and watch it go from the cow to the store. The meeting includes a tour of the robotic dairy seeing the automated milking of cows along with where they make cheese. Food and drink will be provided with a brief meeting following the tour with a review 2019-2020 planned Quad City STEM events and time to share information with other attendees.

Are you looking for a way to share your skills, talents, passion for having fun, and to positively impact the lives of students age 6-18 in your community? It doesn't matter which FIRST program you volunteer for, you will always walk away at the end of the day with a sense of pride and fulfillment, knowing that you have helped children experience what they never might have without FIRST and without your support.

No previous experience or technical background is required for most of the volunteer positions which are nearly all one day or less with adults, college, and high-school students eligible to volunteer, including family and friends.
