Des Moines, Iowa (June 12, 2017) - Two free online webinars on sales and use tax for Iowa businesses are scheduled in June and July. Iowa Sales/Use Tax Basics Part 1 will be held on June 21, with Iowa Sales/Use Tax Basics Part 2 on July 19. Both are scheduled from noon to 1:00 pm. For more information or to register, please visit http://www.iasourcelink.com/resources/business-webinars/iowa-tax-webinars.  Part 1 on June 21 will provide an overview of Iowa sales and use tax, including common taxable services. Part 2 on July 19 will also give an overview of Iowa sales and use tax, and cover local option sales tax. Attendees can register for either or both webinars.   The Iowa Department of Revenue has partnered with the Center for Business Growth and Innovation at the University of Northern Iowa to provide free tax webinars to small business owners on IASourceLink. The presenter for these webinars is Terry O'Neill, Taxpayer Service Specialist with the Iowa Department of Revenue.
