Davenport, Iowa - The Quad Cities will come together to run for the gold at the 2018 CASI St. Patrick’s Day Race on Saturday, March 17, 2018 to benefit the Center for Active Seniors, or CASI, as it is known to so many.

In its 36th year, CASI’s St. Patrick’s Day Race is THE major fundraiser for CASI last year raising nearly $80,000 for vital senior services including the senior emergency food pantry, fans for seniors and Jane’s Place Adult Day Services Program.

Led by a friendly leprechaun,3,000 runners and walkers race through downtown Davenport to help raise funds to support CASI’s mission of providing services to senior citizens in the Quad Cities,” said Laura Kopp, President/CEO of CASI. “With the luck of the Irish on our side, 2018 will be our largest race yet.”

Programs available through CASI include Senior Advocacy services to more than 1,300 seniors annually in addition to daily activities, community forums, fitness and health initiatives, educational sessions and much more. All proceeds raised benefit CASI programs.

Don’t want to run? Our “Ghost” race registration allows everyone to help support seniors. As a ghost, you don’t actually participate in the race. Instead, your $30 registration is a donation which includes a t-shirt available during packet pickup and the peace of mind knowing you, too, are helping Quad City seniors.

Packet Pick-up is at the Figge Art Museum in downtown Davenport on 2nd Street between Harrison & Main Friday, March 16, 2018 from Noon-6:30pm and Race Day, Saturday morning, March 17, 2018 from 7:00am-10:00am (Race Time).

Sign up for the fast, flat, and fun race today. See the leprechaun and help support seniors in the Quad Cities by joining the fun on March 17th at CASI’s 36th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Race. Learn more or register at CASIseniors.org/race.php.
