Gov Kim Reynolds Issues Statement on Death of Former Vice President Richard "Dick" Cheney

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 4, 2025) — Governor Kim Reynolds has issued the following statement after the death of former Vice President of the United States Richard Bruce Cheney “Dick” Cheney:

"Dick Cheney will be remembered as a remarkable statesman — in Congress and the Executive Branch, in times of peace and war, at home and abroad. Above all, he will be remembered as a patriot, who dedicated his life to the service of his country. Kevin and I offer our sincere condolences and prayers to his family. May he rest in peace."
