(DES MOINES) – Gov. Kim Reynolds signed the following nine bills into law on Monday:

House File 2195: an Act relating to members of the state transportation commission, and including effective date and retroactive applicability provisions. This bill passed the Iowa House on Feb. 21, 98-0 and the Iowa Senate on March 26, 47-0.

House File 2300: an Act relating to the practice of certain professions and limited liability companies and professional corporations and including effective date provisions. This bill passed the Iowa House on Feb. 22, 95-0 and the Iowa Senate on March 26, 47-0.

Senate File 2114: an Act relating to matters involving the State Board and Department of Education to reflect current practices, delete redundancies and inaccuracies, and resolve inconsistencies. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on Feb. 20, 48-0 and the Iowa House on March 20, 99-0.

Senate File 2231: an Act relating to carrying weapons and operating or riding a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle while carrying a loaded firearm. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on March 7, 48-1 and the Iowa House on March 19, 84-12.

Senate File 2256: an Act relating to campaign finance, including electronic filing requirements for statements and reports filed with the ethics and campaign disclosure board and disclosure requirements for contributions made to candidates or committees. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on Feb. 21, 49-0 and the Iowa House on March 21, 100-0.

Senate File 2310: an Act relating to alcoholic beverage control and matters under the purview of the Alcoholic Beverages Division of the Department of Commerce. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on Feb. 28, 50-0 and the Iowa House on March 13, 98-0.

Senate File 2323: an Act relating to prohibitions and disclosure requirements concerning outside employment or activities requiring registration as a foreign agent and making penalties applicable. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on Feb. 27, 50-0 and the Iowa House on March 19, 96-0.

Senate File 2334: an Act relating to the regulation of hospitals, including the issuance of licenses and the conversion of hospitals. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on Feb. 26, 49-0 and the Iowa House on March 21, 100-0.

Senate File 2366: an Act concerning the Department of Veterans Affairs relating to membership on the commission of veterans affairs and expenditures from the veterans trust fund. This bill passed the Iowa Senate on March 12, 49-0 and the Iowa House on March 19, 96-0.
