TORONTO, ONTARIO (December 4, 2025) — INKAS® has opened applications for its 2026 “Rising Star” Scholarship, an annual academic initiative designed to support promising post-secondary students in Canada. The scholarship program is a brilliant opportunity for emerging talent, recognizing students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership skills, and a forward-looking approach to the rapidly-evolving industries of engineering and business.

Each year, INKAS awards two scholarships, each valued at $2,500 CAD. One scholarship is designated for a student in Engineering & Technology, and the other for a student in Business, Finance and Law. By supporting students in engineering and business, INKAS® is investing in the two fields that best reflect its identity and in the next generation of leaders. Recipients of the scholarship will be acknowledged by CEO David Khazanski and Chairwoman Margarita Simkin at the Toronto headquarters in Toronto, Canada.

“The Rising Star Scholarship is a reflection of our commitment to investing in the future,” said David Khazanski, CEO of INKAS®.

“Some of the most meaningful breakthroughs in security, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and law will come from the students in the next generation we support today. We’re proud to help them take the next step in their academic and professional journeys.”

The scholarship is open to full-time students who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited university in Canada or the US during the 2026 academic year. Applicants must hold a minimum 75% average (or equivalent GPA) and meet citizenship, residency, or valid study-permit requirements. The students are required to submit an essay with a specific topic that reflects their major.

Engineering and Technology applicants are asked to examine how emerging technologies, such as AI, cybersecurity, materials science, or robotics, can enhance security, efficiency, and innovation within the armored vehicle and defense industries.

Business, Finance, and Law applicants will focus on how strategic leadership, ethical decision-making, and innovation can drive sustainable growth and trust across the broader security landscape.

Essays will be evaluated by the INKAS® Scholarship Committee for structure, clarity, creativity, industry relevance, and overall vision. Applications opened November 10, 2025, and the submission deadline is January 31, 11:59PM EST. Scholarship recipients will be announced in March 2026.
