DAVENPORT, Iowa, February 2017 –The Genesis Cancer Care Institute will be welcoming Jon Dorenbos; America’s Got Talent finalist, magician, NFL player, and survivor of a traumatic childhood, for the 8th annual Captivating Conversations fundraiser to benefit Gilda’s Club Quad Cities. This event will be held on March 31, 2017 at the new Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport IA. Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is asking for your help in selecting the top talent to be one of two opening acts for Jon Dorenbos at this event.

A panel of judges from the Quad City area reviewed all the videos that were submitted and have narrowed it down to the Top 8 Finalists; four in each age group. Videos were judged based on the following criteria: entertainment value, how the talent will translate to the big stage, professionalism and proficiency. The Top 8 Finalists are:

Now it is the public’s turn to vote for their favorite talent by visiting gildasclubqc.org/qctalent. Voting will close at 10pm (CST) on March 29, 2017. Each vote is $1 and the talent with the top votes in each age category will perform their talent, live on stage, at our Captivating Conversations event on March 31, 2017.
