DES MOINES, IOWA (November 12, 2021) — Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller will honor five Iowans for their efforts to stop the abuse and fraud of their fellow community members during the inaugural Consumer Protection Hero recognition ceremony on November 15, 2021.

AG Miller’s Consumer Protection Division protects the public from fraud, deception, and unfair business practices. We cannot do this alone, however. We rely on assistance from Iowans, including those in positions to educate the public or recognize when others may be the target for scams or financial exploitation.

Attorney General Miller is honored to recognize five recipients from Clinton, Des Moines, Exira, and Wheatland for their dedication to protecting fellow Iowans.
