CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (March 27, 2023) — The Iowa Solar Energy Trade Association (ISETA), the trade association serving Iowa’s solar-energy industry, announced its 2023 Board of Directors. Larry Steffen, Owner and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Eagle Point Solar in Dubuque, will lead as ISETA’s president.

As President, Steffen will be responsible for leading the trade association’s board and organizational direction. As a professional organization dedicated to excellence in safety, quality of workmanship and technical standards for the benefit of the photovoltaic industry and its clients in the state of Iowa, ISETA works to move the solar industry forward through public policy, public relations, and education.

Steffen brings years of solar-energy industry knowledge to the ISETA board. He has been foundational in building a highly-skilled workforce for Eagle Point Solar. He has provided individual solar consultations and group presentations to thousands of home and business owners, schools, municipalities, farmers, and non-profit organizations throughout the Tri-State area of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Under his leadership, Eagle Point has grown into a respected industry leader and advocate for a clean and renewable energy future.

  • Sam O'Keefe, Ranger Power; and
  • Rob Hach, Trusted Energy.
