Today the Board of Directors of the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau announced that Joe Taylor, President & CEO, will retire from the bureau, effective December 31, 2018.

“For almost three decades Joe has been a tremendous champion of the tourism industry in the Quad Cities region,” said Deanna Jensen-Valliere, chairperson of the Board.  “The Board and I would like to sincerely thank Joe for all the significant contributions he has been involved in over the years. We will greatly miss him and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

“It has been an honor and a privilege to lead the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau” said Taylor. “I am extremely proud of what has been achieved during my tenure at the Bureau.  I want to thank the entire Quad Cities, from the respective elected officials, city staff members, industry partners and Bureau staff for making my journey at the Bureau so wonderful.” 

A nationwide search will begin soon to identify a new top professional for the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau.
