MOLINE, Illinois (Jan. 5, 2017) – Representatives at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, Ill., announced today the attraction will close for a period of two weeks later this month. The Pavilion will undergo some necessary maintenance, mainly, work on the flooring and lights.

The Pavilion will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 and will reopen to the public again at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 6. The John Deere Store will remain open during this time, but will have slightly reduced hours. During the closure, the store hours will be:

Monday – Friday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sunday: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Those planning a visit to the Quad Cities during this time may still visit other John Deere attractions including:

  • The display floor at the John Deere World Headquarters is open daily and features vintage and current equipment. In addition to a variety of equipment, a three-dimensional historical timeline mural following 177 years of history displays more than 2,200 pieces of authentic memorabilia.

  • Tours of the Deere-Wiman house and Butterworth Center can also be scheduled. To learn more or to arrange a tour, call 309-743-2700.

  • Factory tours can be reserved at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline and at the John Deere Seeding Group in Moline. All tours must be scheduled in advance by calling 800-765-9588 or by submitting an online tour request.
