DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 28, 2022) — On Thursday, December 1, 6PM, at Fairmount, and Monday, December 12, 6PM, at Main, the Library will host Interfaith Focus, a series of two panel discussions with Rabbi Linda Bertenthal, Rev Elaine Calbeck, and Dr Lisa Killinger on the considerable amount of common ground between Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Join our panel discussion featuring leaders from each of the three Abrahamic faiths to explore commonalities and differences. Topics to be discussed will include common misconceptions about each faith, the changing roles of women in faith communities, peace-making, and guidance from three faith perspectives about wars and conflict in day-to-day life.
