DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 10, 2019) — "Lange Nacht des Museums/Night at the Museum" is a unique opportunity for the QC community to visit the German American Heritage Center and Museum (GAHC/M) and engage with others interested in cultural exchange. This event is hosted by Fulbright Germany Alumni and will feature presentations on German and American culture and friendship. Admission is free!

Program

6PM — GAHC Doors open for self-guided tours until 8PM

6:10-6:20PM — Welcome and Introductions from GAHC and Fulbright Germany Alumni

6:20-6:40PM — “America, Germany, and Me” presentation by Vincent L Briley

7-7:30PM — Guest Presentation “Letters and Other Handwritten Relics: A Treasure Trove of German-American History” by Ute Brandenburg of German Script Experts

8PM — Event concludes at GAHC
