AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program will be offering a “Last Chance” Private Pesticide Applicator Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) for private pesticide applicators on April 13 and 14, 2017, at county extension offices throughout the state.

A listing of the county offices offering this course can be found at www.extension.iastate.edu/PSEP/. The course will run for approximately two and a half hours.

The registration fee is $20. To register or to obtain additional information about the CIC, contact your county Extension office.

The course will fulfill 2016 recertification requirements for private pesticide applicators. Topics to be covered include pesticide storage and handling, laws and regulations, personal protective equipment, pesticide stewardship, and pest management and pesticides.
