Please join us for the LeClaire Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting

and for the Open House at the NEW LeClaire Information Center,

117 South Cody Road, Friday June 9, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Please join Mayor Ray Allen, tourism manger, Cindy Bruhn, and LeClaire Chamber of Commerce at the new LeClaire Information Center (LIC) for a Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Friday, June 9, 5:30-6:30pm!
After almost five years at a different location, they have settled in a comfortable and visible space at 117 South Cody Road. It is especially convenient for visitors entering LeClaire from Interstate 80.
In August 2012, the LIC opened in downtown LeClaire, Iowa, to serve the needs of tourists and locals seeking information about the attractions, shops, restaurants, and events in its historic community. Visitors from the United States and all over the world find their way to LeClaire and are pleased to discover such a welcoming place. They delight in being greeted in person by a friendly volunteer with knowledge to share!
The LIC welcomes about 1500 visitors per month and has up to 3000 visitors per month during the busy summer. They also offer a clean restroom with a diaper-changing table to those in need.
Also, the local business owners appreciate the LIC that is run by the LeClaire Tourism Manager and staffed with about 30 volunteers. The assets of the convenient LeClaire Information Center and its wonderful volunteers greatly enhance the visitor experience in LeClaire!
