LeCLAIRE, IOWA (September 8, 2026) — The LeClaire Community Library has started its next strategic planning cycle, which guides the library’s projects and goals for the next three years (2027-2029). The most important part of strategic planning is community feedback, so the library wants to hear from all its community members and stakeholders.

Everyone, from regular library users to those who have never visited, has an important perspective to share about the library’s role in the community. To make your voice heard, you can fill out a brief survey about the ways the library is, isn’t, or could be a part of your life. The survey is available digitally — through the library’s website and linked on Facebook — and as paper copies available at the library’s front desk.

The LeClaire Community Library is lucky to have such an engaged and supportive community. The last three years have been rich and exciting with fun for all ages and modern upgrades, and with your help the next three years will be just as wonderful! Fill out the library’s community survey today!

Help Keep the Reader Alive and Free Since '93!

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
