Iowa Public Television announced today the upcoming fourth installment of its popular children's series, Kids Clubhouse Adventures. Dedicated to fun, adventure and learning, the weekly series premieres four new 30-minute episodes focused on Iowa children starting Friday, January 4, with the second half of season four to follow this summer.

"Encouraging kids to get up and get active, make healthy choices, read good books and use their imaginations is what we love to do on this show," said host Dan Wardell. "KIDS Clubhouse Adventures continues to be fun for the audience - and for all of us at IPTV who work on the show."

New episodes will premiere weekly Fridays at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Saturdays at 7 a.m. and Sundays at 8 a.m. on statewide IPTV. The four episodes premiering in January will feature kids across Iowa playing, learning and discovering things about celebrations, games, sound and storytelling, with later episodes featuring insects, paper, maps and navigation, and citizenship. Each episode will also be available on IPTV KIDS (.2) and online at Iptv.org/Clubhouse and on YouTube.

"The magic of KIDS Clubhouse Adventures is that it features Iowa children having adventures in their own communities across the state," said executive producer Deb Herbold. "With these four new shows, we're excited to provide more learning and laughter to all of our loyal fans."

Kids Clubhouse Adventures is a multimedia learning experience for Iowa children ages 3 through 9. Coordinating educational activities and resources are available to parents and children at Iptv.org/Clubhouse. The series, along with popular PBS KIDS programs, can be enjoyed via statewide broadcast, on YouTube or at Iptv.org.
