DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 10, 2025) — The Mississippi Valley Blues Society (MVBS) proudly announces the fortieth anniversary of Blues Fest taking place on September 19-20, 2025, at the scenic and historic Le Claire Park on the banks of the Mississippi River in Davenport, Iowa.

This milestone celebration will feature an exciting lineup of traditional and contemporary Blues artists.

Friday night’s lineup includes (above, from left) Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones, The Chris O’Leary Band, and Sweetie and the Toothaches.

Saturday’s lineup includes (above, from left) Dustin Arbuckle and the Damnations, Ra’shad the Blues Kid, Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials, and The Cash Box Kings. The festival promises two days of unforgettable live music, community spirit, and cultural celebration.

In addition to world-class performances, Blues Fest includes the beloved BlueSkool on Saturday — an engaging educational program designed to introduce young audiences to the rich history and sound of the Blues. Food and merchandise vendors will also be on the grounds to enhance the festival experience. In recognition of the fortieth anniversary Fest, ticket prices have been rolled back to just $35.00 for two-days of house-rockin’ blues music!

Founded in 1984, MVBS is one of the nation’s longest-standing all-volunteer, non-profit Blues organizations. Its mission is to preserve and promote the uniquely American art form of Blues music through performance, education, and community outreach.

Blues Fest is made possible through the generous support of the community and sponsors. MVBS extends heartfelt thanks to the Scott County Regional Authority, Regional Development Authority, Arconic Corporation, and other valued partners.
