MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 13, 2019) — Paul Plagenz has been hired to assist with building The Moline Foundation’s capacity to serve the area communities through strategic donor partnerships and grant-making. Additionally, Paul’s role is to work with the communities they serve to identify their key priorities that will create a lasting impact on the lives of area residents and work with established and newly-created funds to support these initiatives.

Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Community and Economic Development at Western Illinois University — Quad Cities campus. For the past 14 years Paul has served in development roles for various non-profits including most recently the Quad Cities campus of Western Illinois University, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, and Junior Achievement of the Heartland. In 2018, Paul received the Public Broadcasting Award from the National Friends of Broadcasting for his volunteer support and advocacy of the local public TV station in the Quad Cities — WQPT. He is also a member of the Moline Rotary, youth softball coach, and volunteer for Mercado on Fifth.
