Transformation of the TaxSlayer Center on Friday, April 26 into championship racing and gravity-defying freestyle course

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 25, 2019) — Witness the TaxSlayer Center's arena-floor transform into one of the most complex dirt-tracks ever to be constructed at Monster Jam®. Monster Jam's exclusive premier dirt-tracks are designed to test the expertise and vital dexterity required by competitors to skillfully maneuver their 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks throughout championship-racing and gravity-defying freestyle-competitions.

Monster Jam is the only motor-sports experience where more than 1,000 yards of dirt is used by heavy machinery to construct unique and unpredictable challenges for each Monster Jam competitor. The multifaceted track design also includes 6 feet high dirt ramps and non-dirt obstacles to deliver more spontaneous live motor sports action for Monster Jam fans than ever before.

Monster Jam, the most adrenaline-charged, action-packed motor-sports experience delivering edge-of-your-seat excitement, are on-sale for the TaxSlayer Center. Tickets for Monster Jam are affordably-priced for the whole family with seats starting at $15. Tickets are available for purchase online at Ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, or in-person at the TaxSlayer Center Box Office. Group-rates are available by calling 309-277-1356. * Ticket prices subject to change — venue/ticketing fees may apply.

Monster Jam competitors are trained at Monster Jam University in mastering the skills of driving Monster Jam trucks. Approximately 12 feet high and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-high tires and weigh a minimum of 12,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, Monster Jam trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 70 miles per hour. Monster Jam trucks can fly up to 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air.

The Party in the Pits starts at 4:30PM and goes to 6PM on Saturday and 10:30AM-12PM on Sunday. The Party in the Pits gives fans the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up-close and meet the drivers of the massive Monster Jam trucks.
