On November 6, 2017 at approximately 21:01 hours the Scott County Sheriffs Office received a 911 emergency call regarding a robbery at the Mt. Joy BP/Amoco gas station located at 21010 Brady Street.

The Scott County Sheriffs Office, Eldridge Police Department, Davenport Police Department and Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene and searched the area for a male suspect who had fled the store prior to police arrival. The suspect was not located during the search and no one is currently in custody regarding this incident. An employee of the BP/Amoco did sustain minor injuries during the robbery.
