- Set-up: 2:30-5:30pm – we will need 20 volunteers to help set up tables and chairs around the grounds.

On Friday, August 25, the Zoo will host our biggest fundraiser of the year, Pints for Preservation! In order to transform the Zoo into the social venue of the season for adults, we will need many volunteers to help set up and operate drink stations throughout the night. Here’s a breakdown of what we need:
If you and your friends would like to have fun helping with this special event, please complete a volunteer application at http://www.niabizoo.com/Volunteer/Volunteer-Application.aspx and in the General Interest section, type Pints for Preservation. If you would like to help with other Special Events at the Zoo, type this in to the General Interest section as well. Special Event volunteers receive our monthly Volunteer Zoosletter which includes a list of upcoming events.
Special Event volunteers will need to attend a Pints for Preservation Orientation on Monday, August 21 at 6:30pm. Enter the Administration Building to the right of the admission gates. The Orientation will be held in the Education Classroom.
Please let me know if you have any questions about Pints for Preservation, our Active Volunteer program, or other special events.
