CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (February 5, 2025) — Brides and Grooms voted Peppercorn Food Company best in catering in the 2025 Eastern Iowa Wedding Choice Awards, winning a “gold” among caterers from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Waterloo, Dubuque, Davenport, Burlington, and Dyserville.

“Custom catering is a partnership and we have been blessed to collaborate with wonderful brides and grooms this past year to bring their culinary dreams to fruition,” said Co-Owner Jude Villafana.

Peppercorn Food Company has been catering weddings and corporate events in the Tri-State area since 2022. Recently, they have expanded their charcuterie offerings with more options such as charcuterie classes and gifting boxes.

Peppercorn offers custom catering for weddings and corporate events in Cedar Rapids and surrounding Iowa City, Dubuque, Quad Cities, Galena, Illinois, Apple River, and beyond. The food group portfolio also includes the Peppercorn Food Truck, community fundraisers, in-house chef services, and two venue-rental options. Next, Peppercorn Food Company will open a catering kitchen in Dubuque in the Spring, growing catering services in the Dubuque, Iowa, and Galena, Illinois, markets.

Newest to the Peppercorn Food Company portfolio, the landmark Peppercorn at the Bank restaurant now offers fine dining weeknights with elegant semi-private options. The evolving menu infuses modernity with traditional chophouse cuisine featuring USDA Prime beef and fresh seafood. The restaurant glimmers with throwback experiences like Bananas Foster flambéed tableside. The venue is available for private events Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
