Learn up-to-date facts and paleontology discoveries that are sure to keep children engaged and excited with the Putnam Museum Presents Dinosaurs! at the Davenport Library. Students will learn the difference between a dinosaur and a flying or swimming reptile, how dinosaurs got their name and what they ate and finish with a discussion of fossils. Join us at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount) on Thursday July 20 at 3:00pm for this special event!

This event is for school age children and registration is required. For more information or to register, visit www.davenportlibrary.com or call the library at (563) 326-7832.

Help Keep the Reader Alive and Free Since '93!

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
