BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 21, 2021) — The Quad Cities Chamber announced the launch of Leadership QC, a program for experienced community leaders and innovative thinkers who want to enhance their individual leadership skills. Leadership QC participants will work collectively to develop business-oriented solutions to challenges that impact our region’s workforce. Applications are now being accepted for this 9-month leadership program that will begin in January 2022.

“Leadership QC will bring together a diverse group of our region’s leaders, that maybe wouldn’t normally work together or collaborate, to discuss and resolve issues that affect all of us that live and work in the community,” said Emily Codling, the Chamber’s Talent Manager. “There will be guest speakers, guided discussions and actionable goal setting, all to grow their skills as leaders in their business or organization and to increase their commitment to the place we all call home.”

Dr LaDrina Wilson with IMAN Consulting has been hired to help develop and lead the program. "Leadership QC is an opportunity for dynamic leaders from all sectors to come together to learn more about our community, to develop and refine their leadership skills and to collaborate across sectors and industries to tackle some of the area's biggest challenges,” said Wilson. “It's my hope that we cultivate a generation of leaders that are connected and inspired to step out of their comfort zone to make the Quad Cities region a community all citizens are proud to call home."
