ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 21, 2025) — There something new and exciting happening in the Quad Cities. It involves singing and it is a lot of fun. That new thing is the Quad Cities Karaoke Championship.

This year will be their third season and this event has been a great addition to the area entertainment scene.

It is bringing in business to bars and venues, while making quite a splash for local talent to showcase their singing chops.

There are 26 bars participating this year with each bar hosting two qualifying rounds at their establishment respectfully. The Qualifiers will start May 4th and run through August 28. That means 52 karaoke performers will be chosen to move to the quarterfinals held on August 29, September 5, September 12, and September 26 at Common Chord beginning at 6PM.

The semifinal rounds will be held at Rhythm City Casino on October 17 and October 24 also starting at 6PM with the finals on November 7. First-place prize is a whopping $2,500, second-place prize is a fantastic $1,500, and third-place prize an impressive $1,000.
