DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 10, 2025) — In celebration of National Drive Electric Month (NDEM), Progressive Action for the Common Good (PACG) will host the QC Electric Vehicle Rally on Saturday, September 14, 10:30AM-3PM, at the Freight House Farmers Market in Davenport.

PACG’s Environmental Forum Facilitator, Susan Leuthauser, who is organizing the rally says, “This free event will provide an opportunity for our community to learn what driving and owning an electric vehicle involves, especially the benefits they provide.”

National Drive Electric Month (NDEM) is a coast-to-coast celebration of electric vehicles (EVs). More than 200 online and in-person events will be held from September 12 through October 12 across the country.

According to the latest report, four million (1.4%) of the cars and trucks on the road in the US are electric.

At the QC EV Rally the public will learn the benefits of owning an EV - cost-savings on maintenance and fuel, improved air quality, convenience, and performance. Those interested in owning an EV will be able to speak with EV owners, EV dealers, and arrange a future test drive. EV owners will showcase their cars and network with other EV owners.

PACG has organized the QC EV Rally, with support from the Sierra Club Eagle View Chapter and the Freight House Farmers Market.
