DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 14, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Sunday. Pitcher Jojanse Torres has been transferred from extended spring-training to Quad Cities. Pitcher Brett Daniels has been transferred from Quad Cities to Corpus Christi (Double-A).

Addition: 

RHP Jojanse Torres transferred from extended spring-training to Quad Cities.

Subtraction: 

RHP Brett Daniels transferred from Quad Cities to Corpus Christi.

Torres was signed by the Astros as an international free-agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2018. He posted a 1-2 record and 2.20 earned run average in 13 appearances for the Astros affiliate in the Dominican Summer League last season. He registered 48 strike-outs in 41.0 innings.

Torres has not yet been assigned a number. The active roster remains at the 25-player limit. An updated team roster is attached.
