Lissie Maurus' single, "Best Days", climbed into the top 10 of the Billboard Adult Alternative Chart...reaching # 9 this week on April 28th, 2018. She's been self-funding her albums since 2015...and that includes her single, "Best Days" off of her latest album, "Castles". Lissie was raised in Rock Island, Illinois and now lives in Northeastern Iowa. She went to Colorado State for 2 years and dropped out to pursue her music career in Los Angeles for 5 years and Ojai (California) for 7 years...which is actually referenced to in her new single. In 2011 VH1 added her to their exclusive "Artists You Oughta Know List" which includes musicians of the standard of: Adele, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, and Mumford and Sons. She had been touring in Europe and is currently touring across North America. She will be playing at Schwiebert Riverfront Park along the Mississippi near the district of Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday, June 2nd at 5 pm, for the 7th annual "Laura's Legacy Benifit Concert" to raise money and awareness for ALS.
