Come down to the District of Rock Island for a taste of chili and some preliminary Christmas shopping. Visit Quad City Arts and Left Bank Art League-just one block apart on 2nd Avenue-to taste and vote for your favorite chili. The chili is complimentary; beverages will be available. Both venues are loaded with one of a kind art and gift items created by local and regional artists. Afterwards, stay to enjoy the close jazz harmony of the What Ever Four Quartet at 7pm at Quad City Arts.
The Left Bank Art League is located at 1629 Second Avenue, Rock Island. Left Bank Art League Gallery is a non-profit member run and supported gallery. During this holiday season Left Bank Art League is celebrating over 50 years as a league with its "Everything under $50.00 SALE" for fine quality gifts made by area artist for under $50.00. Amazing gifts like glass, oil, pastels, woodcarvings, beadwork, photography, clay, silk, jewelry, watercolor, gingerbreads, and so much more.
