DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 3, 2019) — The 34th season of the Quad City Wind Ensemble will begin on Sunday, September 8, with our annual open rehearsal. Everyone is invited to bring their instrument and play alongside the members of the Quad City Wind Ensemble. The rehearsal will be in LeClaire Hall on the Campus of St Ambrose University from 6:00pm to 8:30PM. Auditions for new members will be on September 15. Come and enjoy and night of music making and fun with our director, Dr Brian Hughes.

Founded in 1987 by Dr Charles B DCamp of St Ambrose University, the Quad City Wind Ensemble (QCWE) has become one of the finest adult bands in the nation. With an annual series of full ensemble and chamber music concerts, the QCWE has also performed at the annual conventions of the Iowa Bandmasters Association and the Illinois Music Educators Association.
