DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 25, 2020) — Davenport Public Library’s annual Shred Day has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 10, 1–4PM, at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave).

The Davenport Public Library is partnering with both Oelerich, Reiling, and Miller PC and Shred-It to present a Free Shred Day! Community members can bring up to three standard file containers, maximum size 15 x 12 x 10 inches, for secure shredding. Documents will be confidentially shredded on-site. Binders must be removed, but staples and paperclips are fine.

In order to ensure that this popular event moves smoothly and efficiently, patrons are asked to follow the posted signs to drop off their materials in the order you arrive in line. Signs will be posted to direct traffic flow throughout the parking lot.

No registration required, but documents to be shredded will not be accepted prior to the event. Weather permitting, shredding will happen in the parking lot.

This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information visit www.davenportlibrary.com or call the library at (563) 326-7832.
