The 2007 River Cities Rumble disc (frisbee) golf tournament will be held on Mother's Day Weekend, May 12-13, 2007. This event is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association as an A-Tier Super Tour event, and will draw players from across the country, including last year's winner, Chris Sprague, from Oregon. This event will be the largest event of its kind in the area and will bring in a lot of people to see the great disc golf courses this area has to offer. This event is also a stop on the "Iowa Tour" of disc golf tournaments - a group of tournaments which support the teaching of disc golf in schools.

Three local disc golf courses will be utilized for this year's tournament. Middle Park - Bettendorf, IA; Eastern Avenue Park - Davenport, IA; and West Lake Park - Davenport, IA.

The River Cities Rumble will host divisions for professional, advanced, intermediate, masters (over 40 years old), and junior divisions. Local professional and amateur players are encouraged to register.

This event is open to PDGA members only, but spectators are encouraged to come out and check out the action. The final nine holes of the event will be a showcase of the top four professional players and is a great opportunity to see the game being played at a championship level. The "Final 9" will be played on Sunday, May 13th at approximately 2:00pm.

The River Cities Rumble is sponsored and hosted by the River Cities Reader. The River Cities Reader has been a strong supporter of disc golf activities in the Quad City area. There are additional sponsorship opportunities available for this event.
