DAVENPORT - The River Music Experience, in partnership with local live music photographers presents Light and Sound, the inaugural exhibition in the Arts Build Communities series.
The exhibition celebrates the Quad Cities' local music scene in photography. Photographs of local bands and musicians will be on exhibit in the 2nd floor gallery of the River Music Experience from January 20th through March 7. The prints will be available for sale during this time.
Arts Build Communities is an initiative for RME to convene partners and expand the cultural community of the Quad Cities. Light and Sound offers the opportunity for visual artists to showcase their work featuring local music in one of the homes of local scene.
An artists' reception is planned for January 26th from 6-9 PM in the gallery, offering a chance for patrons to meet the artists.
