DUBUQUE, IOWA (May 15, 2023) — The Driftless Region Scenic Art Loop proudly announces that five artists will participate in Voices Studio’s Grand Opening Celebration. The event will showcase creations of Jenna Lueck of Balltown, Iowa; Rebecca Jayne Hennessey of Guttenberg, Iowa; Laura Larabee of Monticello, Iowa; Ben Brummerhop of Mineral Point, Wisconsin and Kathyrn Baxa of Galena, Illinois. The celebration, open to everyone, is Saturday May 27, 6–10PM, at Voices Studio in the Joan Mulgrew Gallery 1585 Central Avenue, Dubuque, Iowa.

Jenna Lueck features bright colorful acrylic paintings of Midwest farm scenes, landscapes, and skyscapes. Ben Brummerhop celebrates life, world beauty, and complexity through dynamic use of color and textures. Kathryn Baxa’s pieces will be of stoneware, raku blade forms, and structures looking touched by weather and time.
