DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 9, 2019) — Scott County Auditor Roxanna Moritz announced today that the Official Canvass of votes for the Davenport Primary Election will be held on October 10, 2019 in the Scott County Administrative Center, 600 West 4th Street, Room 638, in Davenport, Iowa.
During the Official Canvass the Scott County Board of Supervisors will certify the winning candidates from the October 8, 2019 Davenport Primary Election. The two candidates to receive the greatest number of votes for each race will become candidates for the Davenport City Election to be held on November 5, 2019. The Canvass will determine the candidates for Mayor, and Aldermen for the Third, Fourth and Fifth Wards of Davenport.
