DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 30, 2025) — On Sunday November 30, at approximately 10:37AM, the Scott Emergency Communication Center received a call of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of 180th Street and 110th Avenue.

This particular area of roadway is a paved county roadway traversing North and South, North of West Lake Park. The vehicles involved include a Scott County owned 2023 John Deere 772G Motor Grader with snow plow attachments, driven by a Scott County employee, a 53-year-old male from Davenport, and a 2010 Ford F250 pickup truck with snow plow attachments, driven by a fifty-year-old male from Donahue. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene, and an investigation was initiated.

The initial investigation found that a Motor Grader was facing south bound in the 17900 block of 110th Avenue attempting to back up and turn west onto 180th Street. At the same time, a Ford F250 pickup truck was plowing snow from a private residence in the area. The two vehicles collided and no injuries were reported. The accident is currently under investigation by the Scott County Sheriff’s Accident Investigation Unit.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Scott Emergency Communications Center, Walcott Fire Department, and Scott County Medic EMS.
