Saturday, September 23, 5th Annual FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Season Kickoff from 8:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the Putnam Museum & Science Center.
Quad City area FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams from Iowa & Illinois including students, coaches and mentors are cordially invited to attend the Annual FLL season Kickoff free of charge.
The Kickoff is a fun way to meet other teams, learn and share FLL information including opportunities to talk with animal experts, FLL judges and referees. Several teams who previously won awards and participated at State Championships and World Championships will be on hand to share their experiences.
We are seeking several volunteers with no previous experience required. Further information with links to pre-register teams and volunteers.

2017 Quad Cities FIRST LEGO League Junior Season Kickoff

FIRST LEGO League Junior (FLL Jr.) teams (students ages 6 - 10 or grades K - 4) coaches, mentors and parents are cordially invited to the FREE, first ever Quad Cities FLL Jr. season Kickoff! Teams will benefit from interactive table topics, learn how to plan a season, see what comes in the 700+ piece Inspire Set, get a glimpse of WeDo 2.0 programming in action and more. The Aqua Adventure season is all about water and how we use it. Come to the Putnam where you will have opportunity to interact with water professionals and learn about the FIRSTprogression of programs for students in grades K-12 withFIRST LEGO League Junior, FIRST LEGO League (grades 4-8), FIRST Tech Challenge (grades 7-12) and FIRST Robotics CompetitionGrant Applications for FIRST Robotic Teams - Know a school (K-12) or non-profit looking for a great way to provide their students, hands-on, fun learning? Grants for new and returning FIRST teams are available to schools and non-profits through the John Deere Inspire program. The current deadlines to apply by program:(grades 9-12).
