On October 22nd through October 25th the Scott County Sex Offender Task Force, along with deputies of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Sheriff’s Office Reserves, members of the Sheriff’s Office Senior Volunteers, the Iowa Department of Corrections, the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations, the Bettendorf Police Department and the Davenport Police Department, conducted a sex offender compliance check operation.
As of October 31st, the 310 offenders were checked with 298 being compliant. The 12 non-compliant offenders have arrest warrants and some have already been picked up on these warrants.
