Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Scheduled for Friday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m.
Silvis, IL – A ribbon cutting ceremony has been scheduled at the new location of the Silvis Police Department, 600 Illini Drive in Silvis, for Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Press is invited to attend.

The new 10,500 sq. ft. police station includes a state-of-the-art security area with an evidence room, interview rooms and booking area. It also features a dispatch center, offices, a community room with seating for 30, a locker room and an exercise room. A unique feature of the new facility includes a patio with stamped and stained concrete floors made to look like wood. “This has been a quality project done by quality people,” says Mayor Tom Conrad. “We will have a terrific new police station to reflect the quality of the policing our officers give us on a daily basis.”

The construction and design team includes Russell and Bracke.Hayes.Miller.Mahon, Architects (BHMM).
