DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 22, 2019) — Do you have a curious, cuddly friend who wants to be a librarian? Bring them to the Library’s first Stuffed Animal Interns program!
Drop off a stuffed animal or doll at any Davenport Public Library location on Thursday, April 11th between noon and closing, or Friday, April 12, 9AM-12PM.
Throughout the day on Friday our new “interns” will join library staff and help them check out books, lead story time, answer reference questions, and more. Stuffed animals can be picked up at the celebration breakfast on Saturday, April 13, 9:30AM, at the Eastern Avenue Branch (6000 Eastern Ave), where we’ll have donut-holes and juice and watch a video of our "Stuffed Animal Intern" adventures!
