EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 13, 2019) — Over 100 local Quad Cities artists will perform at the inaugural Sweatstock music festival on August 16-17, 2019 at Murphy Park (900 Bend Blvd) in East Moline, Illinois
The festival will include tribute performances to Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Janis Joplin & Joe Cocker, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Sly & the Family Stone, The Who, the Grateful Dead, The Band, Johnny Winter and many more. Local acts that will also feature their original music include: Joe Marcinek, The Velies, Rude Punch, The Candymakers, Jordan Danielsen, Jason Carl and the Whole Damn Band, Condor and Jaybird, The Dawn, and Charlotte Boyer.

With advance notice, interview opportunities with select artists may be arranged.
We have extraordinary talent in the Quad Cities and Sweatstock will be a great outlet to grow the music community and bring people together over a shared passion.

Murphy Park is the brand new bandshell and park located at The Bend development in East Moline, Illinois. Opening in Summer 2019, Sweatstock will be the second major event hosted at this new venue, after the relocation of the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival on July 5-6, 2019.
