DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 4, 2026) — This Mother’s Day Tapestry Farms is offering a collection of products that reflects the spirit, creativity, and depth of motherhood: handmade Dubai chocolate and flower arrangements, created by refugee neighbors building new lives in the Quad Cities.

For many of the women who are part of Tapestry Farms, motherhood has been shaped by challenges and incredible resilience — raising children while navigating new languages, new places, new systems, and new beginnings. Through Tapestry Farms’ social enterprise, these women find meaningful employment, stability, and the opportunity to provide for their families. Their care and craftsmanship is reflected in their work.

Dubai chocolate is trending globally, and at Tapestry Farms it’s made in small batches using a traditional recipe. Each piece layers rich chocolate, pistachio cream, and a tasty crunch — a combination that is both delicious and deeply rooted in cultural tradition. Dubai chocolate is handmade by refugee team members (the majority of whom are mothers) who bring their own histories, skills, care, and pride to the process.

“We love seeing people enjoy our Dubai chocolate and flower bouquets,” said Ann McGlynn, executive director of Tapestry Farms. “It’s a lot of fun to share the incredible skills and traditions of our team members. We’re grateful to our customers who — with each purchase — support their neighbors who are building news lives in the Quad Cities.”

In addition to boxes of Dubai chocolate, Tapestry Farms is offering flower bouquets in a variety of sizes — perfect for mothers, grandmothers, mentors, partners, best friends, or others who will be celebrated on Sunday, May 10.

Each purchase supports Tapestry Farms’ broader mission of welcoming and equipping refugee families through employment and comprehensive support services, including housing, health-care, and education navigation, legal services, employment support, English class, transportation, and much, much more.

Order should be placed online and picked up at Tapestry Farms on Friday, May 8: tapestryfarms.org/mothers-day // Products will also be available in a limited number at the Freight House Farmers Market on Saturday, May 9.
