Coast-to-coast contenders range from the eerie corridors of the Eastern State Penitentiary in Pennsylvania to the infamous Amityville Horror House in New York, with other legendary haunts like Union Cemetery in Connecticut, the Villisca Axe Murder House in Iowa, Franklin Castle in Ohio, Arizona’s Bird Cage Theatre, and Los Angeles’ Cecil Hotel.
