This year, we are also introducing a new honor — the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) of the Year Award.

Hosted by the Visit Quad Cities Board of Directors and professional staff, the event will highlight the ripple effect of tourism, share the latest economic impact results, and provide insights into future initiatives for the Quad Cities.

Special Guests

We are excited to welcome three prominent leaders in the tourism and business intelligence sectors to this year’s Destination QC event:

  • Amy Zeigler, Manager of the Iowa Office of Tourism, will discuss the economic impact of tourism on Iowa’s job market and local economy. Amy will also share statewide trends and key findings on how Iowa is welcoming visitors and growing its tourism sector, offering a forward-looking perspective on regional tourism's role in economic development.
  • Lisa Link, Deputy Director of the Illinois Office of Tourism, will explore the role tourism plays in driving Illinois’ economic success. Lisa will provide insights into job creation, local economic impacts, and the latest trends while offering an inspiring outlook on tourism's future in the state.
  • Devon Alexander, Director of Business Strategy at Datafy, will present key findings from Datafy’s business intelligence analysis, focusing on Quad Cities-specific data related to downtown visitation, sporting venues, and casinos. Devon’s presentation will offer a detailed look at how these insights are shaping both local and national tourism trends.
