CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (January 10, 2024) — January 17 honors America’s Champ, Muhammad Ali, on his birthday — now a holiday in Illinois.

This was one of the first laws sponsored by the Muslim Civic Coalition and is now being passed in other states.

Join us for an insightful discussion with two generations of the Ali family — his esteemed eldest daughter, "May May" Maryum Ali, and his grandson, Jacob Ali-Wertheimer.

Together, they will delve into the inspiring courage that fueled Muhammad Ali's unwavering commitment to justice and peace.

This conversation aims to explore how we, as a collective community, can embrace and apply the same model in our ongoing efforts against injustices prevalent in today's society.
