Underwear Because We Care is excited to announce the dates for the FY2018 Campaign. Our fall campaign will run from October 1st to November 1st, 2018. We will follow this up with a spring campaign, The Kathie Gunnare Memorial Collection, which will run from April 1st to April 30th. Distribution to our partner organizations will take place approximately 2 weeks after completion of each collection. We will be listing all collection sites on our Facebook page, UnderwearBecauseWeCare. All underwear collected or purchased, will be distributed to organizations that provide shelter and services for the needy and homeless citizens in the Quad Cities.

We are grateful for grants already received from the Community Foundation of Rock Island of $1000 and $500 from the Doris and Victor Day Foundation for the emergency program. Monetary donations may be sent to Underwear Because We Care, PO Box 2242, Davenport, Iowa 52809. Underwear Because We Care, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, your contribution may be tax deductible.

The FY2017 campaign was extremely successful as we distributed 6400 items through 31 partner organizations that support the needy and homeless, reaching a total of 2500 individuals. In addition, we have an emergency program that provided 469 items of underwear, on an emergency basis, to 99 individuals.
