DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 28, 2019) — Help celebrate Gilda’s Club’s 20th year as we join together and race to provide free support, laughter, and hope to those who have been impacted by cancer in our community during the 20th annual Gilda’s Run for Laughs, presented by UnityPoint Health-Trinity in the District of Rock Island, on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 9AM.
Registration is now open for this year’s race. New this year, participants have the option to also sign up as a fundraiser and help us meet our $20,000 goal through crowdfunding.
Registration fees are as follows:
- 1-Mile Fun Run — $25 if registered by April 26; $30 day of race
- 5K Run/Walk — $35 if registered by April 26; $40 day of race
Custom awards will be given in the 5K for the overall men’s and women’s champions, overall men’s and women’s survivor champions, and for 5-year age groups in both men’s and women’s divisions from under 14 to over 75 years old. Awards will also be given for the largest family and corporate teams as well as the largest fundraising team. All finishers will receive a shoe wallet thanks to the support of OneStep Printing.
Packet pick up will be held on Friday, April 26, 11AM– 6PM, at Gilda’s Club; 1234 E River Dr, Davenport. On race day, packets may be picked up beginning at 7:30AM in the Great River Plaza in The District of Rock Island.
