MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 20, 2024) — Visit Quad Cities announced on Monday a new addition to its self-guided destination products: The John Deere Trail, which showcases over ten points of interest featuring John Deere. Residents and visitors alike will embark on a self-guided journey through the rich heritage and innovations of John Deere. From exploring innovative products at the John Deere Pavilion to uncovering the deep-rooted history of landmarks like the Deere-Wiman House, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the profound impact Deere & Co. has had locally.

Neil Dahlstrom, Branded Properties and Heritage Manager at John Deere, emphasized the collaboration's significance: “The Quad Cities is rich with nearly two centuries of John Deere history. This collaboration allows us to offer an even deeper John Deere experience in a self-guided, interactive way.”

“The John Deere Trail is yet another opportunity for visitors and Quad Citizens to engage with what Visit Quad Cities calls The John Deere Effect, a key element of our community's brand identity," said Katrina Keuning, Director of Brand and Content Strategy at Visit Quad Cities.

At their own pace, participants can sign up for free to embark on the John Deere Trail, where they will explore historical landmarks, innovative exhibits, and scenic views that highlight John Deere's legacy in the Quad Cities. By immersing themselves in this experience, history enthusiasts, families, and visitors will gain a deeper appreciation for John Deere's role in agriculture and community development.

Explorers on the John Deere Trail will also have the chance to win a gift card to the John Deere Store in downtown Moline.
