COAL VALLEY, ILLINOIS (August 31, 2023) — Shout out for volunteers! On Friday, September 22, Niabi Zoo (13010 Niabi Zoo Rd, Coal Valley) will host its biggest fundraiser of the year, Pints for Preservation! This event kicks off the campaign to bring Bears to the Zoo! In order to transform the Zoo into the social venue of the season for adults, we will need many volunteers to help set up and operate drink stations throughout the night. You can help on your own, as a couple, or gather some friends to volunteer together!

Set up — Tables & tablecloths (12-5PM) — eight needed

Pourer — Pour drink samples (4:30-10:30PM) — 46 needed

Greeters — Check ID and give wristbands (5-8:30PM) — five needed

Distribution — Passport and glasses (5-8:30PM) — five needed

*Note: Volunteers are to assist with the operation of the event for the entirety of their shift and are not to participate in the event during their shift.
